Dana Marie Miroballi grew up around Army bases in Germany and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Uzbekistan before settling down in Chicago. She holds a BA in English, an MA in Teaching, and an MS in Speech, Language, and Learning. Dana is working on fiction and nonfiction books for children, as well as a memoir. She is a member of SCBWI, a 12X12 participant, and a graduate of the Children’s Book Academy’s Craft & Business of Writing Children’s Picture Books course. Dana was a finalist in the 2021 PBParty contest hosted by Mindy Alyse Weiss, the first prize winner of Susanna Leonard Hill’s 2020 Holiday Contest, and a winner during the 2020 Fall Writing Frenzy hosted by Kaitlyn Leann Sanchez and Lydia Lukidis. Dana loves biking along Lake Michigan, reading with her children, and anything related to Doctor Who.
